Equipments

In the separate storage room the dive center stores 15 complete sets of scuba diving gear for divers who arrive without their own equipment and for the ones who attend a diving course. All the equipment for rent is well maintained and regularly serviced.

Wetsuits and accessories: The thickness of the mostly BARE branded diving wetsuits is 5-7 mm, so they are suited for the temperature of the local seas; however, we can equip the divers with scuba gloves, shorties and hoods as well, if needed. We find it important, that every diver diving with the Blue Bay Diving Center feel themselfes comfortable under water, so they can focus on the beauty of the underwater scenery, and their dives is not limited because of the cold.

Tanks: the diving center caters our divers with 52 12L tanks. 90% of the tanks are steel and we have a couple of aluminium tank as well. Because the ladies and the children usually consume less air, we can supply them with 10L tanks. The tanks are always filled with at least 200 bars of pressure, thanks to our water-cooling technique.

Regulators: The diving center has mostly Aqualung and Apeks regulators, which are inspected and repaired every year.

Computers: we have 18 Suunto Gekko dive computers to offer our diving guests. Diving is much safer with a dive computer, so we think it’s important, that every diver diving with Blue Bay Diving Center uses one.

BCs: Naturally our BC supply includes every size, let it be a small child or a thin woman, and we are prepared for the biggest as well! Most of our BCs are equipped with weight integrated pockets, which is unique for a diving center!

Weights: the diving center has a sufficent supply of 1, 2 and 3 kg lead weights, so even when the diving center is at full capacity (that is around 44 divers), everybody can have his or her weights without any problem.

Torches: Our powerful 20W scuba lamps with rechargeable batteries will light your way during your night dives while our smaller 7W torches can accompany you underwater any time so you wouldn"t miss any sea creatures hiding in the crevices.

Technical equipment: A double 12L technical equipment is for rent for divers with special certification and for those attending special wreck diver or deep diver courses. The set includes the whole equipment with tanks and cuffs, aluminium back-rest with T-weight, technical wing and the necessary regulators with hoses.
